Get to know the Moore Family Circus
I ( Randy) grew up in Austin in a loving family that showed me the importance of living my life for Jesus. I have been a youth pastor in various forms for the last 19 years, 11 of those as Student and Community Pastor at Milwood Baptist Church.
Jill had a similar upbringing in Kingsville, Texas where her relationship with Jesus grew and flourished. She graduated from Texas A&M Kingsville with a marketing degree in 1999.
Jill and I meet 20 years ago in Kingsville, Texas during our freshman year of College. We maintained a friendship for years that led us to dating. Jill graduated and moved to Austin, and then we were married in September of 2000.
During our marriage, we have been blessed to serve several churches in different capacities. God has allowed us to work together and have different ministry focuses over the years. In the last few years, he has begun to give us the same vision of how we want to live our lives and lead our family.
We have been blessed with three children: Reagan, Ella and Wyatt. They are each unique and bring special blessings to our family. We love to spend time together and with our extended family. We love to have people in our home and enjoy sharing meals with our friends. We hope to live a life that demands a Gospel explanation and requires us to live in obedience and faith in Jesus.
Join us on mission
"Living by Faith and Following in Obedience" has been a phrase that we have been reminded of time and time again as we have started this new journey in our life. We believe that every follower of Jesus has been given the mission to make disciples. This mission isn't only for a select few, but for everyone that would lay down their life and take up their cross and follow Jesus. Living by Faith is not a solo mission either. We see Jesus fulfilling his mission with the disciples, in community as an example to us.
Not only are we to live by faith, but we are to follow Jesus in obedience. This obedience calls us to trust in Jesus and to rely on others many times. Like many other missionaries and church planters, living by faith and following in obedience means raising your own support. We understand that this won't be easy, but we are trusting the Lord for his provision for our financial needs.
Over the next 4 years (this coming year of the residency at Redeemer and during the first 3 years of the new church), we are looking for partners in prayer, in giving, and maybe even joining us.
We believe in the power of prayer. We also believe that we will need substantial prayer support as we train and start this new church.
Would you commit to praying for us on a regular basis? It would be a blessing to us if you would go to God on our behalf.
To stay up to date on current prayer requests make sure you sign up for our newsletter here. We will send out regular emails to keep everyone up to date with our prayer needs. You can also follow me on twitter or facebook to see what is happening on a more daily basis.
We would also like to know how to pray for you. Feel free to email or text us with your specific prayer requests. You can find that info at the bottom of the page.
We would be humbled and honored if you would pray about supporting us financially over the next 3-4 years.
